John Kasich explains what’s up between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has been all over TV lately as he pushes his book ‘Two Paths.’

On Wednesday, he co-hosted The View and offered some thoughts on the feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

“Well it’s shocking everybody,” Kasich said after being asked by Whoopi Goldberg to explain the rivalry. “Don’t ever steal anybody’s dancers, is the message.”

The governor tweeted later that he hopes “these two can Shake It Off and Rise above it all.”

Ohio Gov. John Kasich criticized President Donald Trump’s budget this morning during an appearance on CBS This Morning.

The interview aired this morning on WHIO-TV Channel 7.

Kasich said “millions” of Ohioans would be impacted by proposed cuts, especially to Medicaid.

“The problem here is you can’t just take stuff away when people need to be healthy, they need to be fed,” Kasich said.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich is set to give his state of the state address Tuesday night.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich today proposed a 17 percent cut in income taxes through a dozen changes, including increasing the exemptions allowed for families making less than $80,000. Kasich also wants to simplify the state tax code by collapsing the number of tax brackets.

Steve Buscemi spoofs John Kasich’s hatred of Fargo

In case you missed it, on Friday’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert Ohio Gov. John Kasich was the punchline of a skit featuring actor Steve Buscemi who was making fun of Kasich’s hatred of the classic movie Fargo.

In his book Stand for Something, Kasich talked about how much he hated the Oscar winning movie.

During the clip, a crazy-wig-wearing Buscemi, brought the book to life as Kasich goes to Blockbuster asking that the movie be removed from shelves.

A Bernie Sanders impersonator hijacked a John Kasich rally in suburban Chicago on Wednesday, but had nice things to say about the Ohio governor.

After saying he disagreed with Kasich on most issues, the Bernie impersonator thanked Kasich for “bringing a little class to the Republican debates.”
