Former senator and 2000 Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Lieberman is getting a lot of attention lately.
The one-time Democrat-turned-independent senator is being listed as one of President Donald Trump’s possible picks to lead the FBI.
Some may think that going with Lieberman is a way for Trump to win some support across the aisle.
Well, it doesn’t sound like any of that support will come from U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio.

Former FBI Director James Comey has been asked to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Wednesday and one local congressman could have a front-row seat.
U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Urbana, sits on the committee. Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, said that he may subpoena a memo reportedly written by Comey allegedly giving details of President Donald Trump’s request to end an investigation into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
Chaffetz invited Comey to testify Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday, Jordan told Jessica Wehrman in our Washington Bureau that Congress needed “to get to the bottom” of the allegations against Trump.
